Make Hay, Sunshine!

make hay, sunshine! is a family-founded business born just after the first Malaysian MCO in mid-2020. Coming from the fitness and events industry and being completely decimated by the unfortunate events that COVID-19 brought along with it, we needed a new venture to put food on the table.

Having realized that all of us as founders each had our own unique valuable skills, we launched our brand initially as a whole foods platform focusing on premium imported and exotic fruit, along with other dry imported products that we felt had potential in the Malaysian market.

Not long into our launch, we had a few close friends ask if we could prepare fruit gift baskets for them, utilizing the premium fruit we had to offer. Having had relatable experience among our founders in a similar field many moons ago, we did some one-off gift sets.

Less than 3 months later, we had completely discontinued our whole foods supply in favour of our gifting division, and have not looked back since.

We offer primarily fruit & floral based gifts in a unique aesthetic unlike what's out in the market. We tailor gifts that are good on the eye, as well as the tummy. We pride ourselves on the quality of our produce (our team inspects individual berries!), aesthetic balance in our arrangements, and a stellar overall gifting experience.
